Eye Op at Last!

After all the hassles of the last six months I finally had my eye op at the Lister Surgicentre. Yes, me, the surgeon and my notes all managed to be in the same place at the same time and after two minutes of zapping with the laser the membrane from the cataract lens appears to have been successfully removed. Now I've got to wait six weeks for a further check-up and then finally I can get myself a pair of specs on my new prescription. Yipee.

So to celebrate I took Mrs L to the Ashwell dung heaps. I know I spoil the lass, but she's worth it. As you can see a Wheatear, a Corn Bunting and a Yellow Wagtail all managed to be in the same place at the same time too.
