Dying Leaves

Another beautiful Otago day..
The previous couple of days were very cold as we had a southerly front come through. A chilly taste of whats to come.
Looking at this post, and the last, I started to wonder if I'm dwelling on mortality too much! Perhaps it comes from being surrounded by students little older than children when I am little younger than... well, old!
I wouldn't swop places though, and that knowledge makes me feel content... and smug. Hmmm, I don't know though, perhaps I would... But then I feel it would be so much hard work to be 18 again. Anyway, it cant happen so will try to hold on to being smug.
I hope as I start to wither, I can do it with the beauty and grace of a leaf.
Ramblings - see, I'm getting old. Ah to be young again...
