To the woods

Took advantage of a few hours of sun to visit ancient woodland at Foxley. Off the beaten track, the only sounds accompanying us were birdsong and the squelch underfoot. No children, just us. Good!

Bluebells aplenty, a few butterflies (Peacock, Orange Tip & Speckled Wood) and Early Purple Orchid. Oh happy day!
