East Hendred

This is the view from my lunch table, in the village pub (The Eyston Arms). A small family gathering.

East Hendred is an amzingly connected village. Once in Berkshire (but, since the 1974 boundary changes, in Oxfordshire), it's a village that has seen events upon events, since the 7th century, and probably before, for all I know.

Look it up and read about it. You won't be disappointed.

And can anyone tell me: what is this building?
