Hot Hot Hot

Well it is still boiling over here!

First of all I want to say something about yesterday, the blip is of the girl next door's may day tree. It is a tradition here that a boyfriend puts a tree decorated with ribbons outside his love's window in the middle of the night. This one is 4 storeys high and he brought it here on a line of bikes with his friends.

The slightly drunken ramble was about something that happened last night that is still very much on my mind. Although it doesn't make much sense, I'm not going to change it.

Last night was our serenade with one of the graduating classes. Serenades are another school tradition that in their last week, they go round to their different teachers' houses, sing and have a drink or several. It is all about the teachers no longer being in a higher position and greetings change to the informal. It was a great night and this class is made up of students full of character and sweetness.

Today was a pretty standard day at school. The sun is still shining and I caught this wee man when I was walking to school. It's not great because he was running all over the place, I was a bit scared when he ran under a moving car! I have never seen one before and aren't the colours of his skin incredible?
