Clematis montana

I love clematis throughout its life cycle. This is somewhere I pass on my journey to work and back, so I stopped off today to blip it.

Today I had to cancel the holiday that I was due to go on next week - a walking holiday on the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, south of Croatia. Am gutted. Have developed a very painful right hip - got really bad towards the end of my walk on Sunday. Saw my GP who didn't think there would be any question about the insurance claim. Now just need to see what's wrong with the hip - just hope it's not going to be long-term. Can cope with cancelling the holiday, but it's a different matter if I'm not going to be able to go on my Sunday walks - they help keep me at least partly sane! I can cancel the annual leave and work instead, so will do that - can't contemplate going away anywhere at the moment.
