Say hello to Martins!

After a number of years working at the forefront of HIV/AIDS prevention in his native Nigeria, Martins came to the UK to study Public Health at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and, although you'd think that would be plenty to be getting on with, he's also recently started volunteering with us at work. In the past month he's become a valuable addition to the team and today he and I spent the morning with some of our other volunteers (thanks John, Betty and Billy!) at one of our local hospitals talking to people at various outpatient clinics and getting their feedback about services.

Here we are waiting for the train back to town and enjoying a spot of sun - the cycle dude is doing the same.

Once Martins finishes his course he plans to head back to Nigeria and continue to make a big difference in the lives of his compatriots. More power to him!
