Cut The Crap

There's a particularly Hateful piece in today's Guardian about the Clash re-issue stuff (Shea Stadium, book, DVD). Whatever, the cover of Mojo this month made me buy it, and I looked out my old Rat Pack bootleg, and stuck Sandanista on. Still sounds as fresh and varied as it ever did, and there is no question about my choice of disk for a desert island. Six sides of magic, and an introduction for a young white Scots lad to the pleasures of dub mixed with politics, slogans and just great songs. I've no time for the moaners; how can it be wrong to have more Clash stuff out there?

May even return Mr Benchnotes Penny Smith book and buy my own (what would the fine be after 20 odd years?)
