Where's ya bin?

This is our new rubbish bin - everyone in the neighbourhood now has four of these. OK for us, we have plenty of room - but it must be a nightmare in some houses. This bin is for plastics and cans, and is proving to be the most-used in our household. The bin for landfill really has very little in it. I suppose that is the point of the exercise. We always did a fair amount of re-cycling, but in this last month, the number of trips to the skip have certainly been reduced now that so much more of the sorting is done on the spot, and collected by the Council.

For Jess & Molly, however, this is just another hate-object. They really do not like wheelie-bins of any colour. I know that when I set the bin in motion, they will bark furiously and try to bite it! Mrs jml has found, however, that if she 'rides shotgun' with me, they don't like that either! All she has to do is fetch a broom from the kitchen and wave it in their direction. Then Jess & Molly lose interest in the enemy and run to far corners of the garden.

It's as if Corporal Jones had produced his bayonet ...
