Oopsie!

Late this afternoon, Husband and I found ourselves sitting down by the lake, not far from our home. I sat and basically sulked as I could find not one thing to photograph. Boring. Boring. Boring.

Husband, on the other hand, had brought along some work and kept himself occupied.

Finally, feeling defeated, I got out of the truck and decided to walk around a little. Camera around my neck, I was walking along when I suddenly disrupted a pair of Canada Geese who happened to be sitting awfully close to the road. I nearly jumped out of my skin, being startled by the flapping of those huge wings....until I gained enough composure to reach for the camera!

Unfortunately, the photos were pretty blurry of the couple both flying, but this one gives you the idea.....just look at those big goose feet hanging down!
