Sprouts

The garden is going crazy with all the rain.

Meanwhile, indoors, Steve is preparing shoots and sprouts of all kinds.

This is his new growth of fenugreek (methi).

Fenugreek can be used as a herb with the leaves, as a spice from the seed, and as a vegetable. Steve enjoys cooking and it is even more rewarding to add his own home grown component.

The leaves are fantastic in saag aloo.
