Zigzag Tree

It was lovely and sunny in Scotland today, and my mum and I went out the pretty village of St Fillans for lunch.

St Fillans sits beside Loch Earn in Perthshire, and I took this picture of a zigzag tree on the lochside. I have no idea why both trunk and branches have formed in this way, but I think it's quite nice.
