Alpaca "hum" to their unborn babies so they get used to their voice.
Alpacca make a communal dung pile.
Alpaca come in 22 flavours colours.
Alpaca babies are called cria.
Alpaca are efficient eaters- only needing about 2% of body weight per day.
Alpaca have a gestation period of 335 - 350 days.

That last fact has probably produced a groan from some quarters.

Oh, and did I mention that they're rather cute. In a dumb sort of way.
