Oh happy joyful wonderful first day of May
This idea of taking a picture of what represents your day is brilliant. It also makes blipping effortless.
Seven loads of laundry later, I feel a small sense of accomplishment that it's caught up despite the fact that I feel like crap, a small sense of worry that there will be colonies of germs on everything I touched while folding and a sense of urgency to reinforce some basic laundry rules.
Rule 1: If you want the handkerchief to be washed separately from the pants, it must be removed from the pants pocket PRIOR to placing the pants in the laundry basket.
Rule 2: Stubborn stains must be addressed BEFORE the article goes into the wash and especially the dryer, where stains are usually immortalized, regardless of their chemical composition.
Rule 3: If you want socks to come out clean and fresh you must un-ball them PRIOR to placing them in the laundry basket.
Rule 4: The person placing the article of clothing in the laundry basket is responsible for rule 1, 2 and 3, not the sorter/washer/dryer/folder/put-away-er.
Rule 5: Rule 4 is not debatable.
Disclaimer1: I am also occasionally guilty of these rules violations.
