Flowers & Trams

New flowers in the gardens, shame about the ongoing tram-works.

Princes Street seems to be one big worksite at the moment - renovations at Waverley Station, the saga of the trams & now even more of Princes St is cut off for the development of a new hotel right opposite the balmoral!

I just don't understand how the council has allowed all this to happen in such a confined space all at the same time. If I was a tourist arriving in Edinburgh right now I don't think I'd have a very positive opinion of the city which is such a shame as beyond the shambles of construction it really is a beautiful place.
