1,000 Miles!

Dog has covered it's first 1,000 miles since it was rescued from it's Alabama field. It has a second birthday at 38104 which is my first 1,000 miles since it got to Florida though.

So what can we recap over the last thousand miles? Well, I've broken down nearly everywhere in this end of town, the exhaust manifold is totally boogered and is causing random problems, Dog eats it's air filter every couple of hundred miles, and Dog is doing about 16-18mpg.

I'm hoping to have enough cash at some point over the summer to get the manifold pulled, but that'll be a big job, mainly because it's going to be rusted solid. If I could get the manifold changed, the carb rebuilt and a new exhaust then I reckon Dog would be in a much better condition.
