The 1st 24 hrs.

Some rough spots to work through, but she slept on her doggie bed in our room after testing the waters only slightly. She peed on the carpet twice yesterday, but not at all today. I've had to supervise several hyper episodes where Ella is clearly exercising alpha role on Bailey. Poor little guy isn't standing up to her pushes & I'm concerned about leaving them alone together when I go to work tomorrow. She plays rough with him, & he cowers. Transitions are tough. We took both dogs on a walk tonight to wear off some energy, & now both are conked out on opposite sofas. I'm anxious to make it all work, & I know it'll take time...but I always worry about my decisions being mistakes if they lead to stress.
