Beltane Fire Festival on Calton Hill, bringing in summer. The Green Man is reborn and is hugging the May Queen.

At the start of the evening, we had some amusing commentary by some rather drunk Glaswegians.

'Ah man, that's like the all seeing eye a'top o'there'
'Oh, aye...'

'It's like star wars, the dark against the light, ken whit ah mean?'

Later on, when the puppets (a dragonfly, dragon, phoenix, jellyfish and trees) were surrounding the stage, another loud Glaswegian voice was heard to say repeatedly 'F*** you Jellyfish!'. Needless to say this was the phrase of the night. Eventually he shut up so we could enjoy the show.

A fantastic night - now could we just get the weather pretty please? :)
