Auberginois

....We don't buy aubergines, we buy auberginois, named for the actor from Star Trek, he played Odo, I seem to remember.

Anyhow, Mr H has just made this for our tea, it's an aubergine curry, with a little bit of tangy lime pickle. I have just cleared a nice big plateful. Ah, it was so good.
