Ladybird
Most of today has again been spent at Addenbrookes Hospital, leaving home just before 0830 and arriving home at 1730, feeling absolutely exhausted. It then became a question of what to blip? I knew that as I could not see clearly after the examination of both eyes, I would have to rely upon the AF feature of the camera for anything that I photographed. I tried cherry blossom, now past its best, I could not see that it was, but it showed this well on a 20 inch screen. A dandelion head, which looked like a punk rock haircut, sharp enough but not very interesting. Flowering nettles with a bug on them; not quite enough DOF for the bug and the flowers. Finally a ladybird, which, due to DOF limitations, was either sharp on its face or its back; I decided upon the face, so here it is suitably cropped.
The last few days have been such that although I have managed to post my blips, I have had no time to look at other people's blips, or post comments. I hope that tomorrow will permit me to do this.
