We bought our summer cottage fourteen years ago. The place had been abandoned for more than ten years. The first time we came to see the place K lifted an old water bucket from the ground and placed it hanging from a tree branch.
The neighbors told us later that when they saw this gesture they knew we were going to be the new owners.
It has been hanging there ever since and has never fallen down.
