Happy Birthday Granny
Slightly late back blip
Last Wednesday was both a public holiday for ANZAC Day - Australia (and New Zealand's?) main day of commemoration for our soldiers. And it was also my Granny's 93rd birthday. My aunt, uncle, sister and one nephew came to visit, and the whole (present) family set off for the Botanical Gardens. Granny used to volunteer there, and they've bought some buggies to take people on tours around, particularly the old volunteers who aren't as mobile anymore. It was quite a bit of fun - we couldn't all fit on, so the cart was chased around the garden by a group of us on foot. After all that exercise we went for a pretty tasty lunch at the restaurant. Granny seemed to have a wonderful day, which was the aim of the game.
