The skyline of my obsession...

This is the western skyline of Albuquerque featuring the West Mesa and a one of the Albuquerque volcanoes. I have painted it, pasteled it, glazed it on to plates and now I am photographing it (and still glazing it). I still don't have it right, but it is a bit closer than I have been before.

Tonight's photo is also a tribute to the Tucson Jim photo of a couple days ago. It quite stuck in my mind. Not quite as colorful, but I don't think the high desert does sunsets as well as the low desert. Also not the quality, but that is definitely where the inspiration came from.
