Reggae bus

In Barbados there are two types of buses. Either the council buses which are blue with a yellow stripe or the other licensed buses which are yellow with a blue stripe and are known as the Reggae buses. The Reggae buses cost the same as the council ones with a flat fare of 2 Barbados dollars per trip made. The name comes about due to the loud Reggae music blasted out during the journey. Not sure what if any regulations are in place for numbers allowed to be carried but if you do not want to journey with your nose in an armpit then possibly best to avoid, this applies to both types of buses. But they are cheap frequent and to be honest fun, if you do not mind fast driving very sharp acceleration and deceleration and the chance to get close (very close) to the locals. If in Barbados worth a shot! But be warned hold on tightly.
