Spring is sprung, the grass is ris.
I wonders where the birdies is.

spring in all its glory viewed from a cafe table in the park. the green of spring always seems such an unlikely colour - so extraordinarily vibrant
great bike ride, exciting flat viewing, great cake and coffee, lost hours in the afternoon (always a good sign), and a trip to the pub.
bike ride was good for body and soul - an interesting article in the paper cited research into how people view the mind and body as separate entities and therefore in need of separate consideration in terms of health and wellbeing.. when many of us know that good mental health and physical health are deeply entwined. the journalist has read - or skimmed - probably hundreds of pop psychology books or self-help manuals over the years. he suggested that every one of them should start with the words 'Before you read this book, go for a swim'.
