Meteological Mistake ?

Just as the early summer sun starts to break through the showers of spring here on the Cote d'Azur, it is time for us to turn our backs on it all, and head back to the sodden joys of Haggisland for what passes for summer there.

As we enjoy our last baguettes, we gaze skywards and a closing window of the promise of the endless blue skies of summer, inexplicably disguised as the Black Sea adjoining Latin America, is slowly obscured behind the gathering clouds.

Which is a long way of saying: 'things have gone full circle and we are going home'.
