Katie had a wonderful time this morning. She got a couple of hours playing with her Granny-Grandad as I went to go see some friends from my postnatal group who now have number2 baby, and do a few piccies for them. She had a fabulous time. Apparently, she decided for about an hour that I was in fact playing hide and seek.

Before I went, I'd got her dressed in her beautiful 2nd new dress of the weekend, ready for heading back for our second trip to Whitby Goth Weekend. I dont "goth her up". I put her in a pretty dress, and a cape that matches, "in keeping with" rather than full on, over the top. She looked beautiful and loved having a dress the same fabric and colour as Mummy's (my posh frock came out today). Katie had leggings, a thick pettiskirt, top, fleece and coat as well as her beautiful dress today!

It was damp today to say the least, but she adores the rain. She had a fabulous time wandering round. We returned to the market (Katie returned to where she'd got a free lollipop yesterday). We pottered into a few shops, where Mummy bought a gorgeous new dress. She spent a lot of time jumping, in her posh frock, in the biggest puddles she could find. We had lunch in a nice cafe. She jumped in more puddles. She asked for icecream, as the rain began to get a bit heavier. She jumped in even more puddles. Then sang songs the whole way home in the car.

After a sunday dinner at Granny and Grandads, we packed the car and headed home. It was less than 2minutes and she was deep asleep, and is now deep asleep in her bed, cuddled up with Monkey.
