The big nine-oh

Aged P is ninety years old tomorrow so we had the celebration today, birthday tea and a lot of old family and friends. She looked lovely and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Not often that we have these big family get togethers these days. The roll call for Aged P's descendants was as follows:

Three children
Nine grandchildren
Eight great grandchildren (and one more on the way)

Of which all but two of the great grandchildren were present. Odd to think that Eighteen of us were standing there having tea and cake courtesy of the birthday girl. That's an awful lot of DNA cascaded in one place.

Apart from that, kicked off the day with a couple of hours work. The emails are incessant at the moment and just staying on top of them is an achievement. Weather dragging everyone's mood down of course. But the sun came out for Aged P in the afternoon which was nice.

Can't believe how quickly this weekend has gone - back to the grind tomorrow ...
