Pot of gold...

Had the craziest craziest day. Went to work as normal, was visiting a patient this morning and was parking outside their house and backed into lampost. Great. Then nipped into the office to pick something for my next patient and discovered my collegue very upset, her partner is in hospital awaiting possible heart surgery. I offered to go to her clinic this afternoon so that she could leave to visit him, as our manager lacks the compassion that you think would be necessary in our line of work. So following an extremely extremely busy day and destroying my car, I picked up Luke and Ian (from work) and set off home. Then five mins into our journey in very busy traffic, a yound woman came off her moped and hurtled across the road. Stopped the car and ran to her (crapping it because I was in my uniform and everyone automatically assumes you know exactly what your doing), luckily she was conscious and able to get up, so not too badly hurt just nasty cuts. Sat with her until the ambulance came and she started to cry, and revealed she was getting married in two days and was worried about the photos with her cuts! Bless the poor thing, I think she was in shock. At least she got up and walked away from her accident and will still walk down the aisle. So anyway I was just glad to get back in my car and go home with my boys. I took this on my mobile, its rubbish but the rainbow was so gorgeous, and huge even though it doesn't look it here.
