Another (rainy) day, another new technique (Smoke Photography) to try! :)

This ODC topic (Just Three Colours) poses an interesting question, at least for my submission - is Black a colour?

There seems to be two main arguments, depending on how scientific you want to be.

In terms of perception and expression, black is an achromatic colour (a colour without any hue and saturation), with use such as 'black paint', or 'black cat'. However, in physical terms, black refers to an absence of visible (light) radiation therefore there is no colour.

So unfortunately, there is no definitive answer as the word has subtle differences in meaning, and depends on who's asking. For the purposes of this image though, let's just assume it's not :)

The photo was created using three separate photos, overlayed in screen mode and temp/tint adjusted to create the differing colours. Being my first ever attempt, this was frustratingly tough to get anything half-decent!
