Make MINE a museum

Went for tea with Laura's Mum & Dad straight from the football yesterday, hence the backblip for yesterday. We had a lovely evening and then woke up to rain, rain and more rain this morning.

We thought we should do something today, despite the rain, so we decided to explore the Museum of Cannock Chase. It has stuff about how the Chase was used during the wars, the people who live on and around it, and a section about the numerous coal mines that used to operate in the area. There's also a section about toys, though I'm not sure what they have to do with Cannock Chase.

This is an old pit wheel that now sits outside the museum.
I would highly recommend the place...well it is free and it was raining.
