Just a few hours old

This is Zinnia with her daughter Zaida who was born very late last night, having kindly waited until I was back from London. This was probably a great relief to Trev who had been on goat-duty all day!
Zinnia and Zaida are British Alpines which is a breed created in the early Twentieth Century.
