Day 10 in Oman

This is the rather impressive dome for the entrance to our hotel of last night.

After the fun of driving up the mountain yesterday came the realisation that we now had to get down. This is the point where your brain goes, what if the brakes fail?! This is why they tell you to go down in a low gear (in my case 1st gear all the way down) so you don't pick up to much speed. Once safely down the mountain it was back to Muscat.

I'm glad we get our little exploration road trip to see more of the country and it's people. Very friendly people even when you are obviously not a local!
