Surfing to cheeky monkeys

Rising at 5 am for my first surfing experience (painful) we donned the wetsuits (not flattering to anyone) had a briefing, and warm up before hitting the water!

I can safely say I've found a sport that I have a frustrating lack of aptitude for! I did get standing, and there is photographic evidence of this! But I'm covered in bruises!

Practise will make perfect....apparently.

We left spot x at lunch time, and headed up to byrons bay in torrential rain.

The evening consisted of a bbq and alot of alcohol before and at cheeky monkeys, it was ladies night after all!
