giant tulips

spent the day at home with a dodgy stomach...better weather though, I was starting to get pissed off with days where we had pelting rain, sun, wind, sun, hailstones, wind, sun, pelting rain etc etc. it was really warm in our garden and I only just noticed the tulips that have been and nearly gone at the end of the garden. this is about the only lasting bit of gardening I've ever done. I planted them the first year we moved in, delighted to at last have our own garden and yet to realise that I didn't like gardening, and they're fantastic and huge every year...we just haven't been in the garden enough recently to notice them.

anyway, watched a couple of films in the shed and tomorrow it's beth's birthday...into town shopping with three pre-teens and beefy. this could go either way...
