Daddy and William as taken by Carys

On her ELC camera, which explains the quality. Another miserable wet day and I am struggling with inspiration. Carys, however took loads of shots, so I plump for a guest blip.

8am saw Carys and I at Hitchin pool for a trial lesson in a stage 3 class. She is a tall girl but she was the shortest in the class by a head, so I have no idea how old the kids were. End of the class culminated in the teacher saying she needed to be in a stage 4 class and work on her breathing and feet for breast stroke, but her freestyle and back stroke were excellent. So come the end of Monday might actually have got her in a swimming class for this term.

After that and creche it was indoor play. Nanna and Poppa came round for a play and tea and stayed for a good chat after the kids were in bed.

Tomorrow Carys has a play date and then if it is still raining in the afternoon we will all go swimming in order to tire them out.

Had some lovely and very exciting news today. Very pleased for the people concerned. Will post more info tomorrow maybe, but wanted to mark the day in my journal. Carys is especially excited.
