Heroscape

Rolled out Heroscape with son #1 for the first time in the new house. A tremendously fun game for those who don't know it, easy to follow rules with lots of special abilities. He's been playing it since he was 5 and was onto the advanced rules in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately this is now no longer made and is becoming very hard to get hold of. A great shame it's a brilliant introduction to gaming. Highlight today was huge undead beast stomping his way through squads of Roman archers and Vikings. Yes that's right in the same army. The WWII troops had already been despatched. More about Heroscape here . Highly recommended especially for young and old alike.
