sunset is so much later than it was a month or so ago it is brilliant. The weather has been wild, but calm seems to have descended, a bit like our house after another hectic Friday. Isaac started football tonight which was chaotic, hilarious and alarming all at the same time as 40 small children, mostly boys ran round like lunatics with not a single one having any idea what the rules were, what the aim was, which ball they were supposed to be chasing or which goal they were supposed to be shooting in. Isaac absolutely loved it. He did great in swimming today too, but is getting too confident now. He is busy doing backward rolls under water while he is supposed to be swimming with floats. El took her plimsoles home from school at her teachers request, and I have honestly never seen such worn out shoes in all my days. I had no idea, as she never usually takes them home so am mortified!! Shoe shop for us tomorrow!
