Leucanthemum vulgare

Well, the sun shone for a bit this morning but it's now disappeared under a layer of chilly cloud. The first of the ox-eye daisies, my favourite hedgerow flower, are out - these are on the wall of a holiday home and I had to crouch under them in a suspicious manner, but irrisistable bobbing cheerfully towards the sun. I don't think they are remotely vulgar.
A useful and fairly relaxed day - mowed lawns, hoiked duckweed out of the pond, planted out runner beans and did a bit of proof reading - yes, it's at that stage!! Tonight we have 'Albatross' to watch, I don't know what it's about but it's set in the Isle of Man, so Klaus tell me. Hope you're all having a good weekend.
