Cricket on the Meadows
Today my mission was to blip the cherry blossom on the Meadows - a green space between Edinburgh University and Marchmont, where lots of students live. There are several avenues of cherry trees and I was determined to get a blip out of them. The sun was shining, so that meant it really needed to be today - the blossom doesn't hang about for long and it would have been risky to leave it for another day. However, I realised I needed something else in the picture, so was glad to find this game of cricket.
I had thought that cricket wasn't a very Scottish thing, but I stand corrected by melamny below. And regardless of how much of an English or Scottish thing cricket is, you can see it better in large.
