Whisky Galore

Today we went into what's left of town to visit a shop Dave rather likes - Whisky Galore.

There was a birthday party tasting going on so the shop was rather busy but Dave was still able to get his bottle of Glenfarclas.

I took this photo of this bottle of the world's oldest whisky. Its story was being told to me by the gentleman whose reflection you can see.

A lovely warm autumn day to wander around the mixture of wreckage, demolitions and rebuilding that is Christchurch. A few new buildings have popped up already! Many of you are interested in our progress after the dreadful quakes. You might be interested in this recently made video.
