Desigual Design

We drove to New York this afternoon, for friends, museums and to see my son's family (tomorrow). This was taken late in the afternoon leaving the subway--it displays the 35th Street wall of the Desigual store at Herald Square--it's a "a casual clothing brand based in Barcelona" offering innovative designs, as you see here.

We were on our way to the Pierpont Morgan Library--a museum which houses his amazing collection, above all medieval manuscripts and drawings of all periods. It also hosts wonderful exhibitions--today we saw a show from a private collection of Dutch drawings mainly from the 17th century--very high quality. There was also a wide-ranging and imaginative show called "In the Company of Animals", from their own collection--displaying the role of animals in all the arts (sounds a bit weird, perhaps, but it was great).
