Kasha Revisted

Stopped by to visit with Kasha for a few minutes on my way to class. Kasha immediately started howling prompting her human to come out and investigate the noise. During our brief interaction, Kasha's human informed me Kasha has a form of breast cancer. Evidently, she had a mastectomy a couple of months ago, but they were unable to remove all of the cancer. I asked how long she had and she replied, "we don't know." It is just another reminder to me how fragile life is and that we never know when our human or animals friends will be taken from us. All the more reason to cherish the moments we have with each other.
