Nesting?

This old concrete railroad bridge support rises out of the river about 12 feet. It's about 60 feet away from the auto bridge. One has to go across the bridge to get to my house. My s-i-l spotted this goose sitting on it today. She has been there for several hours. I wonder if she has eggs? It would be really cool if we could see some little ones later on. I hope no one bothers her. There are people of a certain ilk that live out this way that might think it fun to 'disturb' her. Let's hope they have better sense than that.
