I could not resist the big eyes of this young Tawny Owl for today's blip. However, much more important was the release of the Northern Gannet, after a few weeks revalidation (more photo's in the same Flickr folder). Then you realise what you're doing it for, when this majestic bird spreads its large wings and soars over the ocean.
