Forgetting time

This was a sudden brief spell of sunshine that stremed in through the windows to raise my hopes. It came crisp and lively after a couple of days of rain and grey skies. And as it came, it began to rain again. Somewhere there might have been a rainbow, but I wasn't able to go out. An old friend visited me. It was interesting meeting him.
