Mommy Robin Defending her nest

I've been checking out a nest on the side of my house ever since I moved in last July. I didn't think it had an occupant, but then this spring it started to get gussied up. I finally figured out it was a robin's nest just a couple of weeks ago when Mother Robin dove out of the nest, into a tree, and started yipping at me very loudly! I quietly moved away so she could get back to her chicks undisturbed. This photo is one I took of her the second time I snuck over to take a look. Perhaps one day she'll let me have a look at the nest . . . . or perhaps not!
