NC SB575

I had the privilege of meeting Odessa Davis today while working on a video project about North Carolina Senate Bill 575, which would give the UNC-system Board of Governors the authority to set the parameters of employment for UNC workers. Davis has been a housekeeper "all her life" and she said she loves doing it and loves "the kids." But if SB575 passes, she is afraid her legal protections under the State Personnel Act will be lost.
