Halfway There

Lyssa has been away for nearly a week now. While the peace in the house is something that we have not had for several years, I miss her like crazy. I miss her when I don't hear her in the morning, when I don't say goodbye for her going to school, when she doesn't come in at night and when I cannot check she is safe and sleeping when I am going to bed.

But, the sun is shining, so I took the dogs for a walk after taking Anya to the doctors. She has a rash type thing on her legs and has antihistamine and penicillin to take. She is staying at her friends house for a sleepover party tonight and will be home after lunch tomorrow.
