New lenses

Sadly not for the camera this time...

At a visit to the optician today for a contact lens check-up, I happened to answer "a bit" to the question of whether I was having trouble reading small print. "Just on jar labels. Oh and sometimes on instruction manuals.

The very friendly optician kindly suggested I might like to try reading glasses. "Just +1." No sooner had I worked out she wasn't referring to Google +1, but instead Goggles: diopter +1, she had positioned the said lenses in front of my eyes and said, "There, that's better isn't it?" I had to admit it was.

So here's a blip of my latest pair of lenses ;-)
